Her Grace Srimati Urmila devi dasi is one of those souls who has awakened to the calling His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (Founder-Acharya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, a.k.a. ISKCON).

Urmila devi dasi is firmly walking the path back to Godhead, serving her beloved spiritual master since 1973, by developing educational projects of primary and secondary education. Her Grace has received her Masters in School Administration and Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Urmila devi dasi is also well known for her lectures throughout ISKCON temples where she delivers the timeless teachings of the Vedas with loving devotion and deep knowledge. Urmila devi dasi has made her life glorious by following in the footsteps of her spiritual master Srila Prabhupada and the previous acaryas. Her dedication to the teachings of Bhakti Yoga continuously inspires devotees all over the world. We celebrate her appearance into this world by spreading the glories of her service, so that everyone has an opportunity to jump into the ocean of love that is Krishna Consciousness. We are eternally grateful to Sri Krishna for kindly sending such an exalted soul to help us all with her wisdom and encouragement in the path of devotional service.

Teaching and preaching tour reaches the UK

With the appearance of spring Her Grace Srimati Urmila devi dasi arrived in the UK. Beside places around London this year´s teaching and preaching tour will also include major places in Ireland.

BA (Hons) in Educational Studies, Theology & Religion has been validated

The Bhaktivedanta College at Radhadesh will be offering a new three-year Education Studies degree through the University of Chester based in the UK. The course will equip students with direct experience of teaching and learning whilst exploring the spiritual, religious and values domains of education with insights drawn from the ancient Vaishnava-Hindu traditions.

The College has links with key Initial Teacher Training providers and collaborates closely with potential employer organizations, such as the I-Foundation which has founded the Krishna Avanti School system in the UK
